Flying is synonymous with speed and dynamism, but not only that, there is a slow flight that allows you to savor the landscape, the singing of birds and the sweet breeze of central Italy: the hot air balloon.

We will climb on the oldest instrument built by man to navigate the skies, a sweet and contemplative flight over the gentle hills and plains shaped by the tireless work of man,

an area rich in history, we will fly over the lands of Sagrantino and the Strada del Cantico, where Saint Francis preached the love of nature.

We will look into the eyes of the cities of central Umbria that usually tower on the other side of their mountains.

The one day trip includes:

Hot air balloon flight,

A typical Umbrian breakfast,

Wine tasting from the Dionigi winery,

Description of the flight experience.

The flying season runs from April 1st to November 1st.

The take-off time, depending on the seasons, varies from 6.30 to 7.30, you will be contacted by the flight company the previous evening for confirmation.

Meeting at 6.30 am at the Dionigi winery in the municipality of Bevagna (PG). After a short training on safety regulations, take-off takes place, the flight lasts about an hour. At the end of the flight you will return to the base where you will be offered a typical Umbrian breakfast and wine tasting in the rooms of the Dionigi winery.

Equipment:

Wear casual and comfortable clothing, comfortable and sturdy shoes, sun hat, sweatshirt or windbreaker in the cooler periods of the year.

Flights are prohibited for:

Pregnant women (more than 3 months), children under 6 years old, anyone who has undergone a major operation in the last 6 months, anyone who has broken a limb in the last 6 months, anyone suffering from chronic back or neck.

Cancellation, flight cancellation:

Cancellations are permitted up to 48 hours before the flight date. Any cancellation made with less than 48 hours notice, or failure to attend your appointment, will incur a full charge.

If the flight is canceled by Balloon Adventures Italy due to bad weather, we will arrange to book a new date for the flight, or refund the cost of the ticket in full.

The flight company, for logistical and safety reasons, always requests the name and telephone number of the participants.
