Friday 18 April: MADRID
Breakfast and overnight stay. Morning dedicated to a panoramic visit of the city. We will start with the "Madrid of the Habsburgs", (the dynasty that reigned from the 16th to the beginning of the 18th century) the oldest historical heart of the city, Plaza Mayor, the main square and Plaza della Villa (town hall). We will continue in the "Madrid of the Bourbons" which follows the urban developments of the 18th and 19th centuries: the fountains (Cibeles, Neptuno) along the Castellana, the main north-south ace of the city. Free afternoon (Friday is the most important day in these celebrations, our suggestion is to see the procession of the Jesus Nazareno de Medinaceli -always crowded- and that of the 'Alabarderos' which starts from the Royal Palace with soldiers in 18th century costumes). Free dinner

Free time (also on Saturday afternoon there is the popular procession of la Soledad (very suggestive). Dinner and overnight stay.
