After 50 years in business, the Tandjung Sari is an ageless beauty.

This charming hotel on Sanur beach, shaded by enormous trees, is an oasis of peace, so much so that it has become a point of reference as the first boutique hotel in Bali.

Tandjung Sari did not begin as a hotel, but as the private home of the founder, Wija Wawo-Runtu, in 1962. Soon additional bungalows were built to accommodate friends, then, later, friends of friends.

It became a hotel almost without anyone realizing it. The profound respect for this oasis of peace has meant that, despite the strong tourist development of the island, this hotel has remained an exclusive place well integrated into the surrounding nature.

The twenty-seven cottages, of different types and sizes, are immersed in lush vegetation and guarantee total privacy. They all have large rooms with living areas, high straw beds and four-poster beds.

The classic Balinese furnishings are a strong point of this historic hotel, accompanied however by modern comforts, with air conditioning and wi-fi.

Enjoy some well-deserved relaxation on the fine sandy beach, bathing in a turquoise sea, or immerse yourself in the hotel's infinity pool where you can drink a delicious cocktail.

With its splendid terrace overlooking the Gunung Agung volcano, the restaurant is the heart of this resort: one of the strong points has always been the cuisine. The menu, designed to offer international and Indonesian cuisine, offers you ingredients from controlled organic cultivations.

Relax in the characteristic reading room, or in the SPA or fitness center.
