I arrive in Delhi shortly after midnight.
Meeting with the local assistant and transfer to the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel.
Time available for relaxation. Start of visits to the city of Delhi. Visit to the new city. In the old city (Shahajahanabad), you will see a picturesque maze of narrow streets: it is divided into two parts by the "Silver" street, a colorful and lively succession of shops and bazaars. In the same area you can visit the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in the world, built in 1650. Along the road you pass in front of the Mausoleum of Mahatma (great soul in Sanskrit) Gandhi. In the late afternoon, if time permits, visit a Sikh temple. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay. Day 3: June 18 DELHI – KULLU (by flight) / KULLU – MANALI (by car) 50 km (B/-/D) Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer with the Italian speaking guide to the airport and departure by flight to Kullu. Arrival and continuation by car to Manali, a town located in the northern part of the Kullu Valley from where our adventure in the clouds will begin. Lunch during transfer. Arrival in the evening and check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay


Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer with the Italian speaking guide to the airport and departure by flight to Kullu. Arrival and continuation by car to Manali, a town located in the northern part of the Kullu Valley from where our adventure in the clouds will begin. Lunch during transfer. Arrival in the evening and check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.


After breakfast the real adventure of the TransHimalaya begins, among the clouds of Ladakh, leaving for Tandi (2,580 m) passing through Rohtang Pass (3,980 m). This first stage represents a real challenge for motorcyclists: the surface conditions road surfaces are in poor condition and the wet ground makes it really difficult to maintain the bike! After crossing the pass, the route will lead us to Tandi, a small village of around 500 inhabitants, considered one of the most sacred places in the Lahaul Valley. Lunch during the excursion. Arrival, accommodation and relaxation in the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.


Breakfast at the hotel. We start on roads where we can fully enjoy the fantastic Himalayan scenery of the Bara Lachla Pass (4,890 m), the Indian Switzerland. The pass will take us down to the vast plateau of Sarchu, a town located on the banks of the Bhaga river. We will stay overnight at the Swiss Cottage Tents, a tented camp located at 4,250 m. altitude and it will be the coldest night of our trip. Lunch during the excursion. Check In, Dinner and overnight stay in a tented camp.


After breakfast, we will get back on the motorbike towards Sakti, a small village on the way to the Nubra Valley, through the Lachungla Pass at 5,065 meters above sea level. Lunch stop at Pang. Continue through the second highest pass of our journey, the Tanglag La Pass (5,350 m). Arrival in Sakti in the late afternoon. Accommodation in a tented camp. Relaxation and free time. Dinner and overnight stay.


Breakfast in the field. Departure by motorbike to reach the wonderful Pangong Lake, the largest lake in the Himalayan mountain range, located at an altitude of approximately 4250 m above sea level on the border between India and China. In winter it freezes completely, despite being a salt lake. Dinner and overnight stay in a tented camp.


Breakfast in the field. Departure by motorbike to reach the Nubra Valley, once a transit route for caravans from China. Arrival in the early afternoon and if time allows, excursion to the monasteries of Sumung, Panamik which, among nameless peaks, have perpetuated the teachings of the Buddha for centuries. Dinner and overnight stay in a tented camp.


Breakfast. You go up by motorbike to reach the ancient city of Leh, what is considered the capital of Ladakh, along the highest road passable by car in the world, climbing up to the Khardung La pass (5602 metres, 56 km from Leh). The view is breathtaking: in the distance you can see the peak of the Karakorum Pass, the peaks of the Karakorum which exceed 7000 meters and the Golden Throne. A small stop for tea or coffee in the highest café in the world and after lunch we continue to reach Leh. Arrival in the afternoon. Hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.


Breakfast To visit this part of Ladakh, go back down the Indus valley to Uleytopko passing through the Alchi monastery, set in a wonderful mountain setting, one of the best preserved monasteries. We continue to the Lamayuru monastery, the oldest and considered among the most sacred and important places of worship in all of Ladakh. We then stop in Mulbek, an area with Buddhist influence to admire the nine-metre statue carved into the rock representing Maytreya, the future Buddha. Overnight stay in hotel in Kargil, a city that marks the border between Ladakh and Kashmir.


Breakfast. Time available for relaxation. Departure with flight to Delhi (Go Airlines flight). The motorbikes will be transported separately to Manali. Arrival in Delhi and accommodation in rooms at the Hotel Le Meridien. After lunch we will continue with the visits of Delhi. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.


Breakfast at the hotel. In good time, transfer with local assistant to the airport and departure for Italy with a scheduled flight operated by Oman Air via Muscat. Arrival in Italy expected in the late afternoon.
